Course Description: This workshop is designed for the therapist that wants to gain confidence in treating body image distress. Body image concerns are ubiquitous in American culture and this course explores how to facilitate body connection in a culture focused on the “ideal body.” Special emphasis will be placed on exploring the body as it is and celebrating body diversity. Participants will leave with embodied and expressive tools for facilitating body appreciation.
